Custom testing is essential for proving that a component’s material and design features are able to withstand complex operational criteria. In these scenarios load testing is critical to ensure proper safety factors are accounted for.

Most load testing equipment operates in either tension or compression. This allows for standard test samples to be tested with ease using standard flat or V-shaped grips. There are other scenarios where your component shape can make it difficult to achieve loading that would represent operational conditions.

SGS Ludwig will work with you to understand your component, required loading attributes and collaborate to make sure load is applied properly.
